The American basketball player, Brittney Griner was born on October 18, 1990, in Texas. She was the youngest among her four siblings. When she reached her teenage years, she developed an interest in sports and started playing basketball during her school days, at Nimitz High School where she went. In her freshman year, she engaged herself in basketball and varsity volleyball only. But as she became a senior, Brittney led the team of Nimitz Cougars during the Texas 5A girls’ basketball state championship. She graduated with 52 dunks including seven dunks single-game record in a match against Aldine High School.
