As Senior Vice President of Sales at Opentrons’ Pandemic Response Lab (PRL), he oversees the most extensive COVID testing programs nationwide, including eldercare, back-to-school, and state/city government programs. Through its nationwide lab footprint, PRL processes more than 7 million COVID tests and provides critical variant sequencing to state/city governments to help combat this pandemic. PRL is expanding its menu to hundreds of updated tests to deliver the same cost-effective, fastest, and scale benefits across the entire US healthcare system. With Softbank’s recent $200M in funding, the valuation of Opentrons increased from $90M to $1.8B in 12 months.
Before joining Opentrons-PRL, Poley served in sales/GTM leadership roles at several early-stage B2B technology companies that became industry leaders, starting as a founding member of Salesforce.com’s enterprise sales practice under Marc Benioff at the company’s 2004 IPO. SignalFX recently acquired Splunk ($1.05 billion) in 2019. Poley earned a BA in finance from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA in entrepreneurship from Babson’s Olin School of Business.
